GLENDALE, AZ - Officials are investigating an accident involving two motorcycles in Glendale.
Glendale police spokesperson Tracey Breeden said two motorcycles collided at 47th and Olive avenues early Thursday morning.
According to Breeden, one of the motorcycle riders was attempting to make a left turn, failed to yield and turned in front of the second motorcycle.
Both motorcyclists were taken to the hospital. One motorcyclist has serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The other motorcyclist has minor injuries.
Breeden said speed and impairment are not suspected, only failure to yield.
The intersection has reopened after being closed for several hours.
