EL MIRAGE, AZ - Police have identified a woman found dead in an El Mirage cemetery Sunday.

Police said 25-year-old Kristina West, of Wittmann, was found on a dirt road at the cemetery near Grand Avenue and Greenway Boulevard.

Kim Walden with the El Mirage Police Department said visitors at the cemetery called police around 7:15 a.m. to report the body.

Officers noticed obvious signs of trauma to the woman’s body and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

This investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who may have information concerning this crime is encouraged to contact Detective Swingle through the El Mirage Police Communications Center at 623-933-1341 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS, (480) TESTIGO for Spanish. They are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
