EL MIRAGE, AZ - The SWAT team was called to a house in El Mirage on Saturday night after a stolen truck was reported.
Detectives were called to the house after a company truck was stolen in the early morning hours in Glendale. The owners of the truck had a GPS on the vehicle, and tracked it to the home on West Flores Drive in El Mirage.
When El Mirage police showed up at the home of the stolen vehicle, several people ran back into the home and barricaded themselves inside.
After the suspects locked themselves inside the home, El Mirage police called detectives with the Vehicle Theft Task Force, led by the Department of Public Safety. DPS executed a search warrant around 6 p.m.
DPS shortly after called the SWAT team to come and assist.
Three males and two females were arrested after gas was deployed into the home forcing them out.
There were no injuries reported, and police say at least two people will be booked into fourth avenue jail in Downtown Phoenix.
