EL MIRAGE, AZ - El Mirage police are working to identify a suspect who robbed a smoke shop at gunpoint last weekend.
Authorities say the unknown male entered the Smoke Away business near Dysart and Thunderbird roads shortly after 8 a.m. on July 21 and used a gun to rob employees.
He demanded money and window cleaner (Bath Salts), which he loaded into a red duffel bag and fled the business on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200 pounds, wearing red pants and a dark long-sleeved shirt with the Adidas symbol on the front.
He also had a dark colored bandana around his neck and a red cloth around the upper part of his face with eye holes cut out so he could see.
The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun with a silver stripe on the barrel.
As the suspect left the building he pulled the red cloth down, exposing his face to the surveillance camera.
If anyone recognizes the suspect or has information about this crime, contact Detective Karner with the El Mirage Police Department at 623-933-1341.
