Police investigate deadly shooting in El Mirage

EL MIRAGE, AZ - Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in El Mirage Thursday morning.

Detective Kim Walden with the El Mirage Police Department said officers responded to a shooting in the area of El Mirage and Thunderbird roads around 10:20 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 29-year-old man who had been shot inside a home. The victim died at the scene.

El Mirage detectives are trying to identify and locate any suspect or suspects involved in the crime.
