EL MIRAGE, AZ - El Mirage police have released new details in the death of a woman found at an El Mirage cemetery April 1st.
Police said Monday that 25-year-old Kristina West was shot and killed sometime between 11:30 p.m. on March 31 and 7 a.m. on April 1.
West, of Wittmann, was found on a dirt road at the cemetery near Grand Avenue and Greenway Boulevard.
Kim Walden with the El Mirage Police Department said visitors at the cemetery called police around 7:15 a.m. to report the body.
Officers noticed obvious signs of trauma to the woman’s body and the death is being investigated as a homicide.
This investigation is ongoing.

They are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
