EL MIRAGE, AZ - An El Mirage boy was pronounced dead from injuries police believe he sustained after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night.
Just after 10 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a scene on Greenway Road in El Mirage regarding an injured 5-year-old boy.
According to police, a 911 call indicates that the boy was possibly struck by a vehicle.
Officers came to aid the child until he was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
El Mirage detectives are investigating the case and will provide more information on the child’s death after an autopsy is completed.
