EL MIRAGE, AZ - The Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour with AARP is back in the Valley. On Friday from 11am-5pm you can get a free health check in El Mirage.
Tour officials said the three free tests take about 20 minutes. They include total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, body composition, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, visceral fat, real body age and body weight. These check-ups can help detect or prevent heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
No insurance is needed and if you take part in the tests officials said you will be given a a free one-year AARP membership.
This marks the fifth year the tour has helped folks across the nation. In four years, tour officials said it's given three and a half million health tests valued at more than $70 million.
