BUCKEYE, AZ - Authorities say a woman was killed after her vehicle struck a tree in the west Valley Friday.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at Maricopa County 85 and 195th Avenue around 10:10 a.m.
The woman was air-lifted to a Valley hospital where she was pronounced dead.
No other details were immediately available.
MC 85 was closed between Jackrabbit Trail and 207th Avenue until approximately 1:30 p.m. for the investigation.
