BUCKEYE, AZ - Authorities say they've made an arrest in connection with a homicide in Buckeye.
Maricopa County Sheriff's detectives say they took 43-year-old Sau Martinez-Zuniga into custody Monday.
Martinez-Zuniga was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail in suspicion of manslaughter.
Detectives were called out to the area of Pecos and Tuthil roads where the body of a man was found with a gunshot wound about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The victim was later identified as 45-year-old Fortino Galaviz-Borquez.
During an interview with sheriff's detectives, Martinez-Zuniga allegedly admitted that he had shot Galaviz-Borquez while they were out shooting guns and that he had left the scene.
They also say Martinez-Zuniga admitted to being in the country illegally.
Authorities didn't immediately know whether Martinez-Zuniga had legal representation yet.
