BUCKEYE, AZ - 35-year-old Josh Bloom is in custody after leading multiple police agencies on a high-speed chase through parts of the West Valley Friday afternoon.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Carrick Cook said Bloom started on State Route 85 after an aggressive driving suspect fled from a DPS officer as he initiated a traffic stop.
Bloom then continued on to the ramp to eastbound Interstate 10 towards Phoenix.
After reaching speeds of more than 90 miles per hour, a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office SUV did a pit maneuver, spinning Bloom's car out on eastbound I-10 in Buckeye.
Air15 video showed officers taking Bloom into custody near Jackrabbit Trail.
Bloom is being charged with aggravated assault, unlawful flight from law enforcement, making a threat, and driving with a suspended license due to a DUI.
