BUCKEYE, AZ - The state Department of Public Safety has closed part of eastbound Interstate 10 near Buckeye after a tanker truck caught fire.
Authorities say the tanker carrying liquid asphalt rolled over just before 6 a.m. Thursday.
The left lane has been reopened to traffic, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS says the driver has been transported from the scene, but the extent of injury is unknown.
Motorists were being directed off the interstate at mile post 103.
There's no estimate on how long the rest of the roadway will be closed.
