BUCKEYE, AZ - Authorities say four people were killed when their car caught fire in a crash west of Phoenix.
The accident happened on Maricopa County 85 near Airport Road around 3 p.m. Saturday.
Air15 video showed a passenger car covered with a yellow sheet. The rear of the car looked to be completely crushed.
A second vehicle, an SUV, was seen at the side of the road with moderate damage to the front end.
Officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said one car rear-ended the other and the vehicle in front burst into flames.
One person from the second vehicle was air-lifted to a Valley hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
