AVONDALE, AZ - Avondale police said a 70-year-old man who went missing Monday has been been found safe and sound.

Pablo Leon-Solorio was last seen driving away from his residence near Main Street and Dysart Road around 9 p.m.

Officers were called to the residence on Sunday after he did not return home, according to police.

Sergeant Brandon Busse said Leon-Solorio's family found the missing man in California Tuesday morning.

Busses said Leon-Solorio is in good health and will be headed back to Arizona in the upcoming days.
