AVONDALE, AZ - Police arrested a man in Avondale this week accused of sexually abusing a young family acquaintance multiple times.
According to court documents, 33-year-old Noah Thomas Taylor was arrested at his home Sunday evening without incident near Rancho Santa Fe Boulevard and McDowell Road.
The 15-year-old female victim reported the incidents after she and a family member went to Arrowhead Hospital due to injuries from the sexual abuse, police said.
The girl said Taylor molested and sexually abused her about 20 times over an undisclosed period of time, according to documents.
Taylor reportedly said he thought he and the girl had a “weird attraction toward each other.”
After his arrest, Taylor was transported to the Avondale City Jail where he was processed for five counts of sex conduct with a minor, two counts of child molestation, and two counts of sex abuse.
Police wrote that they “respectfully requested [Taylor] be held without bond due to the seriousness of the crimes."
