AVONDALE, AZ - An Avondale neighborhood was evacuated after a vehicle crashed into a mobile home Tuesday afternoon.

Ron Deadman with the Avondale Fire Department said the car went into the home in the area of Van Buren Street and Dysart Road.

The vehicle was reportedly on top of a gas meter, so fire officials evacuated surrounding areas in case there was a gas leak.

Southwest Gas responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
