AVONDALE, AZ - Thousands of people camped outside Phoenix International raceway, but the most coveted spots seemed to be the ones closest to the tent-supermarket, not the entrance to the track.

"It's very well stocked," said Dawn Turner, referring to the Bashas' tent that was set up in the main parking lot.

Typical vendors selling memorabilia said they expect Sunday to be their best day for sales.

Pedicab drivers believe they will be in such high demand that fans will start bidding wars to get a lift.

"It's tough, but I love doing it," said Rick Kanner of Mile High Pedicabs.

As for the threat of rain on Sunday, "we will get wet," Kanner said.

Rain is predicted for Sunday morning with the race starting at 1 p.m.
