AVONDALE, AZ - Police have arrested an 18-year-old man accused of robbing a Chase bank in Avondale last month.

According to Avondale police, the suspect went into the bank located inside a Fry's Food store on July 31, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store in an unknown direction.

Police say leads called in from several citizens led to the arrest on Wednesday of Wesley Burston.

Burston was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of armed robbery, one count of aggravated assault and one count of disorderly conduct with a weapon.
