As the Valley comes to grips with a missing lake in the middle of Tempe, some residents are turning to the web to express their feelings about this week's dam break.

Through anger, sarcasm and simple reflection, Arizona is reacting to Tuesday's accidental drainage.

YouTube user kwstone posted a video clip of what life is like without a lake for boating.

She dubbed a rowing machine, "Tempe Town Lake Rehab," and used a chalkboard backdrop in place of lake water.

YouTube user khorton30 took a different approach in his video , showing off what's left of the lake now that nearly all the water is gone.

Set to music, there are some surprising remnants on the lake bottom.

If you've seen the viral video "Double Rainbow," you'll understand this next YouTube clip.

User OwingMoneySucks posted the below video of the empty lake.

He took some "Double Rainbow" queues with his verbiage.

There's also this clip from user joesfishingvideos that shows the scene through pictures and music.

The drainage of Tempe Town Lake has even led to radio stunts.

In the below clip from Barrelboy1025, KNIX radio hosts Ben and Matt send a man in a barrel to walk across the empty lake.

One of the lake's western dams collapsed on Tuesday night, draining all the water.

Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman said the lake would probably not be reopened until sometime this fall, leaving boaters and rowers high and dry.
