Vehicle fire causes BIG backups on Tempe freeway

TEMPE, AZ - A two-car crash and subsequent vehicle fire have caused major delays on a Tempe freeway.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Carrick Cook said no injuries were reported in the crash on eastbound Loop 202 near the Loop 101 exit.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted off the freeway at McClintock Drive.
Video from Air15 showed traffic backed up for several miles as crews worked to clear the accident scene.

It is unclear at this time what caused the crash.
