TEMPE, AZ - A Tempe middle school worker was arrested Friday night for sexual misconduct with students.
Tempe police say George Person was arrested on charges of child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, sex abuse and furnishing harmful items to a minor.
Police began investigating the 28-year-old after they were contacted by a concerned parent who saw inappropriate conversations between Person and their child online.
Person is currently an instructional aide at Gililland Middle School in Tempe, and has been working there for the past six years.
Tempe police detectives are continuing to actively work the investigation.
