TEMPE, AZ - Police are asking for the public's help finding the person who killed a 37-year-old woman in Tempe.
Tempe police spokesman Michael Pooley said Joann Rotz was found by police in a dirt lot near Rural Road and Apache Boulevard around 1 p.m. on November 21.
Investigators determined Rotz died from trauma to her upper body.
Pooley said police believe Rotz was homeless. Authorities said she was often seen in the company of transients.
