Tempe gears up to host the Skirt Chaser 5k

TEMPE, AZ - The City of Tempe is hosting an unconventional race this weekend.
What sets The Skirt Chaser 5k apart from all the other races? Women lead the pack!
Men must wait three minutes to begin their leg of the 5k.
That’s where the fun begins. Will the men catch the women, or will the women beat the men?
Plus, participants can purchase a running skirt to make this 5k even more memorable.
After the race, a block party is open to runners and anyone else looking for fun on Saturday.
The party will feature games, food and drinks and an awards ceremony for the 5k runners.
The Skirt Chaser 5k is sponsored by Skirt Sports, which is a women’s active clothing company that’s dedicated to balancing fashion, performance, and attitude.
Registration ends at midnight on February 8 th.
