TEMPE, AZ - U.S. Marshalls caught another fugitive who has been on the run for more than a decade after being convicted of sexual assault charges in Arizona.
Mazen Diamond, the co-defendant of Antonio Julio Sanchez who was arrested April 24 by US Marshalls in Miami Fla., was found hiding in Atlanta on Monday, May 6.
Diamond had started a new life and was living with his girlfriend and two children, according to Tempe Police Department.
Diamond has been booked into the Fulton County Jail and is waiting for extradition to Arizona.
Mazen and Sanchez plead guilty to the 2001 sexual assault and surreptitious videotaping of two Arizona women in 2002. Both of them skipped on their sentencing hearing and had been on the run since.
Sanchez was arrested in Miami last month.
Mazen was booked into the Fulton County Jail and is now awaiting extradition to Arizona.
