TEMPE, AZ - Police have released videotape of a deadly accident at a Tempe intersection Saturday night hoping to find the suspect vehicle and driver.

According to Tempe police, the accident happened Saturday night around 11:45 p.m. when 32-year-old Bradley Jason Scott, of Mesa, who was riding a motorized bicycle was struck by a vehicle at Southern Avenue and Rural Road.

Police say the suspect vehicle, described as a beige- or ash-colored 2002-2007 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable, fled without stopping.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Video from a camera at the intersection shows one vehicle turning left through the intersection, the bicyclist starting across from the west and a second car striking the rider.

Police say the suspect vehicle is missing the passenger side mirror and should have damage to the front passenger side and possibly a broken front passenger side window. The windshield may also have been damaged.

The Tempe Police Department is asking anyone with information on the collision, the suspect vehicle, or driver to call 480-350-8311or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
