TEMPE, AZ - Thieves are targeting iPhones and laptops on and around ASU's Tempe campus, according to police.
The thieves will grab the victim's iPhone and run off, according to officials.
Authorities told ABC15 they arrested three suspects Monday night, but there are others still on the loose.
A similar incident occurred Tuesday near campus, although it's unclear if the incidents are related, authorities said.
"It did make me a little more concerned," said ASU student Martyna Sawicka.
Sawicka said she has been more careful since learning of the incidents.
"You have to be more aware anyhow, even if there aren't incidents," she said. "But I wouldn't change my routines [because] I'm kind of set in them."
ASU police said officers will continue to be on the lookout around campus and offered advice if you will be in the area.
"Be vigilant and keep your valuables out of public view," said Commander Jim Hardina with the ASU Police Department.
Hardina said the robberies have occurred over the past week.
"It's definitely possible that things could escalate and people could get hurt," Hardina said. "That's what we're trying to prevent."
Many ASU students, such as Sawicka, are doing what they can to stay safe and hope the case is closed soon.
""It made me more aware when walking back to my car after classes," she said.
If you have any information on these incidents, you are urged to call police.
