PD: Man arrested in Tempe in child porn, sex case

TEMPE, AZ - Police arrested a man Thursday in Tempe for child pornography and allegedly committing sexual acts with young girls.

A search warrant was executed in the investigation surrounding 28-year-old Antonio Adrian Gonzalez, according to Sgt. Joe Favazzo with the Chandler Police Department.

Favazzo said detectives from Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe helped in the arrest of Gonzalez and searched his home near Mill Avenue and Baseline Road.

Gonzalez reportedly operates an online photography business.

Police have gotten complaints about his business and Gonzalez, specifically about him trying to contact adult and underage girls to photograph, Favazzo said.

Gonzalez used social networking services, email, and text messages to contact young girls and their friends, Favazzo said.

He said detectives also learned that Gonzalez committed sexual acts with some of the girls and photographed the acts.

Gonzalez also is accused of sending images of child pornography from his computer to other people.
