TEMPE, AZ - Police have arrested a naked man who apparently jumped off a railroad bridge and into the Tempe Town Lake and then avoided rescue boats for more than an hour.
Tempe police said 38-year-old Chris Brown was arrested shortly after noon Wednesday and taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police said they believe Brown was high on drugs at the time of the incident.
Authorities said Brown is accused of indecent exposure, failure to identify, obstruction of public thoroughfare, defecating in public, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor for swimming in the lake.
