TEMPE, AZ - Police say a 22-year-old motorcyclist lost her life Tuesday after colliding with an SUV.
The accident happened around 6:50 p.m. near Rural and Broadway Roads.
Tempe police spokesman Scott Smith said the investigation is ongoing and impairment is believed to be a factor in the collision.
The driver of the SUV, a 32-year-old female has been taken into custody for various charges including multiple counts of aggravated DUI and one count of manslaughter.
