TEMPE, AZ - A man has been taken into custody after he barricaded himself in a room at Sun Devil Stadium on the Arizona State University campus Thursday morning.
ASU spokeswoman Julie Newberg said the man, who is not affiliated with the school, was claiming that people were pursuing him and that he was armed.
Officers from the ASU and Tempe police departments were eventually able to talk the man out of the building.
No gun was found, Newberg said.
The man, whose name has not been released, is in police custody.
There was no immediate word on charges he may face.
