GUADALUPE, AZ - SWAT teams surrounded a home in Guadalupe Thursday night looking for a man who fled deputies after they tried to serve him with an arrest warrant.
Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Chris Hegstrom said around 5:30 p.m., deputies tried to serve the the warrant to Angel Guzman when he took off running.
Authorities searched the home near Avenida Del Yaqui and Guadalupe Road, but did not find Guzman.
Air15 video showed several police vehicles surrounding the home and SWAT team members searching the backyard with dogs.
Deputies ended the active search for Guzman around 7 p.m. Hegstrom said they are still looking for Guzman, but not with SWAT crews and a helicopter.
Guzman is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing black shorts and a plaid shirt.
Hegstrom said Guzman is a known felon and is considered dangerous.
