TEMPE, AZ - The westbound Loop 202 at Scottsdale Road is back open Monday afternoon after four people were injured when a broken down car was was struck at full speed by another vehicle.

DPS officers said the impact of the crash caused the broken down vehicle to roll, causing serious injuries to three of the four people involved.

The Tempe Fire Department said all four people appear to be adults. At least one person had to be extricated from the vehicle.
