TEMPE, AZ - Two people were injured while taking part in a ride to commemorate Arizona's Centennial .
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on the westbound Loop 202 at Center Parkway in Tempe.
The Department of Public Safety said two motorcyclists had injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The HOV lane was blocked with traffic moving past the accident scene on the right.
There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
As many as 2,000 motorcyclists were expected to reach the Capitol complex in downtown Phoenix around 3 p.m.
