TEMPE, AZ - Tempe’s infamous Cadillac Ranch nightclub is set to close its doors on Saturday.
According to a press release, new management has worked with Tempe Marketplace to develop a new concept for the space.
The concept is reportedly aimed at attracting a new audience who "appreciates sports, daytime fun and drinks."
The property is planned to be closed for a month before reopening.
The Tempe nightclub was fined by The Arizona Department of Liquor Licensing and Control $6,000 for serving Culolias, who was just 19 at the time.
Culolias was last seen being escorted by a bouncer off the grounds of Cadillac Ranch at Tempe Marketplace during a Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity-sponsored event.
Since Culolias’ death, the state made Cadillac Ranch use scanning devices to check IDs as well as keep a record of all checked IDs.
Cadillac Ranch’s last night of service is Saturday, November 2. The property will be closed for the month of November to undergo extensive construction.
