TEMPE, AZ - Former President Bill Clinton is set to appear at a rally in Tempe for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Richard Carmona.

Carmona's campaign says Clinton will appear at a rally Wednesday evening at Arizona State University to kick off early voting in the state. Voters can begin casting ballots on Thursday.

Carmona is facing Republican Rep. Jeff Flake in a battle to replace the retiring Sen. Jon Kyl.

The rally is free to the public but online registration is required to get a ticket.

The rally will be held on ASU's Sun Devil Performance Lawn.
