Tempe police to focus on worst intersections

TEMPE, AZ - Tempe police will be focusing on the city’s 10 most dangerous intersections in the coming weeks.
The department in cooperation with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety will be putting together a special enforcement campaign at Tempe intersections that have had the most collisions in the past six months.
The dates of the campaign are February 17, February 20, February 24 and February 27.
The following is list of intersections where Tempe police will increase enforcement:
• Southern Avenue and Rural Road
• Rural Road and University Drive
• 5000 S Arizona Mills Circle
• Broadway Road and Rural Road
• Baseline Road and I-10 freeway
• Mill Avenue and Southern Avenue
• McClintock Drive and Baseline Road
