QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Hundreds of residents in the southeast Valley were without power Tuesday night following a dust storm that rolled up from the south.
Salt River Project officials reported somewhere between 500 and 1,000 customers lost power in the Queen Creek area.
The outage was reported at 6:36 p.m., just as Tuesday's dust storm made its way closer to the Valley, however officials have not confirmed the cause of the outage.
The affected areas were from Crismon Road to Jodi Drive and Pecos Road to Ocotillo Road.
SRP teams had the power restored by 8:40 p.m.
