SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ - Pinal County Sheriff's deputies have captured a second suspect wanted in a store robbery in San Tan Valley Saturday night.
According to Sheriff's Office spokesman Tim Gaffney, 18-year-old Humberto Sanchez and an unidentified 13-year-old, walked into the store on East Skyline Market Road, grabbed two 18-packs of Bud Light beer and tried to leave without paying.
When the clerk tried to stop them, the 13-year-old fled on foot. Sanchez attempted to follow, but was caught by the clerk.
The 13-year-old and the clerk reportedly got into a fight and during the struggle, the clerk used a stun gun to try and restrain the teen.
When police arrived on scene, he was booked into the Pinal County Juvenile Detention Center for one count of aggravated robbery. Gaffney said he also has a prior arrest for a burglary offense.
Deputies found Sanchez late Monday night. He admitted his involvement in the robbery and also confessed to another home burglary in the area.
