QUEEN CREEK, AZ - Authorities say a pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Queen Creek.
Brandon Jones with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said that around 3 a.m. deputies responded to a hit and run accident involving the pedestrian near Rittenhouse and Ocotillo roads.
The victim was taken to a Scottsdale hospital with critical injuries.
Deputies are now looking for a midsize Pontiac sedan with front end damage.
Rittenhouse Road was closed between Cloud and Ocotillo roads for several hours for the investigation.
