QUEEN CREEK, AZ - The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who allegedly lured a 10-year-old girl into his car in Queen Creek.
MCSO says the girl was walking alone in the area of Power Road and Queen Creek Road around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday when the incident happened.
According to MCSO, the suspect displayed a weapon after the girl refused to get into his car. The suspect then allegedly exposed himself to her.
The suspect eventually released the girl unharmed in the area, when she refused to comply with his requests.
The suspect is described as a dark complexion male with black hair who was wearing brown jeans and a black hat. He was last seen driving a brown or gray four-door vehicle.
Higley Unifed School District has notified the families in the area via Facebook . They have also sent out a crime bulletin.
