A 2-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital after being found floating in a community pool Tuesday night.
Pinal Country Sheriff's Office spokesperson Tim Gaffney, said the toddler was found around 8:00 p.m. in the Magna Ranch subdivision near Judd and Felix Roads in Pinal County.
Two-year-old Lillian Serrano was transported to Florence Anthem Hospital where she was pronounced dead a little after 9:30 p.m, Gaffney said.
Witnesses told the PCSO the child was found near the steps of the pool.
The mother of the child said she was a the pool with other friends and didn't notice her daughter walk away.
PCSO will continue to investigate the case.
