LEADVILLE, CO - U.S. Marshals have arrested a man who is accused of killing a San Tan Valley woman last November.
Corey D. Allen, 28, was arrested in Colorado on Sunday.
Allen is accused of shooting Linda Perelli-Brown a number of times after allegedly threatening her, according to authorities.
Allen was identified as the suspect and an arrest warrant was issued charging him with first-degree murder and kidnapping.
A number of leads were followed in Arizona in association with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
Eventually, information was developed that Allen was possibly hiding out at a home southwest of Denver, Colorado.
Allen was located in Leadville, Colorado and taken into custody without incident.
Sheriff Paul Babeu said in a news release, “The murder was done execution-style as Linda was pleading for her life while talking on the phone with her daughter.”
Allen was booked into the Lake County jail, where he awaits extradition to Arizona.
