MESA, AZ - Authorities say a woman is in custody for allegedly taking her young son to a drug deal in Mesa.
Mesa police say they found 25-year-old Yasiman Elizabeth Esmarili in a stolen car Wednesday with used syringes and drug paraphernalia within arms' reach of her 5-year-old son.
Court documents show Esmarili had just come from a drug deal where she allegedly bought heroin.
Police reported finding heroin and methamphetamine in the car.
Esmarili was arrested on charges of child neglect, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, use of electronics communication in drug transaction and possession of drug paraphernalia.
It was unclear Thursday if Esmarili has an attorney yet.
