MESA, AZ - A 30-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after threatening workers at a Mesa Dairy Queen with a grenade.

According to court documents, Renee Danielle Deshaies was found by police, still carrying the grenade in her hand, near Main Street and Hobson.

The victims identified Deshaies, telling police they believed the grenade was real.

When she was interviewed by officers Deshaies said she also believed the grenade was real, according to police.

Deshaies, described as a transient, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of misconduct simulating an explosive and disorderly conduct/fighting.
