MESA, AZ - Police have released surveillance video of an elderly woman crashing her SUV into a Jo-Ann's fabric store in Mesa.
The accident happened May 21 near Main Street and Recker Road.
Police say the 78-year-old woman was parking her SUV when she accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
The SUV crashed through the store's glass entrance and ran over three customers and a store clerk.
One of the victims, an 89-year-old woman was critically injured.
At last report, the driver was recovering in the hospital.
