MESA, AZ - Ready for a trip to Las Vegas?
Spirit Airlines has just started twice daily non-stop service between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Las Vegas.
To celebrate the new route, Spirit is offering $28.79 one-way fares, including taxes and fees, based on a round trip purchase available Thursday and Friday only on the airline's website .
"We are excited to welcome Spirit's first flight from Las Vegas to Mesa," City of Mesa Mayor Scott Smith said. "Each new airline and each new destination shows that Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is excelling in the midst of and in spite of the struggling economy."
Flights depart from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport at 12:23 p.m. and 8:50 p.m.
The applicable dates from Mesa include February 14 and 15, March 8, 13 and 18, and April 21 and 24.
