MESA, AZ - Police have located an 84-year-old woman with Alzheimer's who went missing Thursday night.
Dovie Kennemer was last seen around 8:45 p.m. near Ellsworth and Guadalupe Roads.
Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry said Kennemer was located around 3:15 p.m. Friday two houses away from where she went missing.
Berry said she was found inside the closed garage of a home belonging to a Mesa “snowbird” couple.
Police believe that she got into the garage through an unlocked side door.
Berry said Kennemer was not injured and seems to be in good health.
