MESA, AZ - Mesa police say a 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with his mother's death early Saturday morning.
Police spokesman Tony Landato said officers responded to a home near east Juanita Avenue and Gilbert Road around 4 a.m. He said some sort of altercation had reportedly occurred inside the home.
Landato said when officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Tina Helms Spencer deceased inside the home
Authorities said they are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
No other details were released.
