MESA, AZ - Authorities say that 12 people have been arrested following an investigation into several shops across the Valley allegedly selling prescription-only drugs made in Mexico to customers without prescriptions.
On Wednesday morning 14 search warrants were served at locations in Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler and Tolleson.
Mesa police say seven of the locations were homes of the individuals involved and seven were various Yerberia shops, including Los 3 Amigos and El Renacer.
Police say several residences, businesses, vehicles and bank accounts have been seized as evidence.
The search warrants were successfully and safely served, according to police.
The names of those arrested have not been released.
