MESA, AZ - Police are searching for a man suspected in an armed robbery at a Mesa Sally’s Beauty Supply on Monday.
Police reported two people in the store witnessed the suspect enter the store, on East University Drive, approach a female from behind and take the victim's purse from her.
The suspect then fled the store where two people who were outside the business witnessed what happened and reportedly chased the man to East Covina Street but lost him.
The police described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid 20s, about 180 pounds, between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, and has a thin mustache.
